If you have a business, you need to be using email marketing in some way. EVERY business needs it in some way. If you’re an online business, your email list is often your only extremely valuable digital asset.

Even if your business uses social media extensively, you don’t have a DIRECT way to contact people on Facebook or Instagram. When you have an email address, you have a DIRECT line of communication with the person you want to reach.

# 3 – AGAIN, MOST DIRECT WAY TO REACH SOMEONE
Email is, by extension, the most direct way to reach someone with a marketing message online. (Imagine all the people who delete their Facebook accounts, resist logging in, or want to never use social media in the first place. THESE PEOPLE EXIST. They’re just not you.) The only exception to how direct email is might be SMS (text messaging your customers and clients) but email is still more practical.
