For nearly a decade, Kate was a full-time freelance journalist for over 125 magazines, newspapers, and websites including USA Today, EatingWell, Cooking Light, Travel + Leisure, The Washington Post, Forbes, Esquire, Women’s Health, Clean Eating, Wine Enthusiast, SELF, and REAL Simple. She’s also the author of the cookbook, Atlanta Chef’s Table: Extraordinary Recipes from the Big Peach.
Kate left her flourishing freelance writing career to start a holistic wellness blog, Root + Revel, which became a multi six-figure business! She now teaches other heart-centered online entrepreneurs how to monetize their blog or online business with sustainable strategies — no burning out, no selling your soul – through her two courses The Six Figure Blog Academy and 21 Days to Impact.
Kate preaches working from a place of rest, not hustle through heart-centered entrepreneur tactics, practical, actionable strategies, and holistic, mindful biz tips.
She lives in Atlanta with her husband Matt, their two kiddos, Jackson and Gemma, and their 3 fur babies, Scout, Boo, and Finch (yes, like the book!).
