The Process
Step 1
Collaborative Brand Intake
We kick things off with a deep-dive intake designed to uncover your story, values, goals, visual preferences, target audience, and emotional tone. By listening to you talk about your business, what you love most about it, and how you want to be seen, I'm able to intuit more about your likes and dislikes. This session, combined with the Intake Survey, sets us both up for success!
Step 2
Color Palette
After our collaborative kickoff, we do what I call a "run of palettes" and present a bunch of color variations and sets to you. These are chosen based on talking to you (so it's a bit guided) and we collaborate to find your most resonant set of colors.
Step 3
Logo Design
This is a fully co-created design experience. I don’t disappear into a cave; you’re involved, informed, and empowered!
You’ll receive multiple versions designed to match different brand needs, including:
- Stacked/square
- Horizontal/long
- Circle/badge
- Black/white versions
- High-res JPGs and transparent PNGs
- The original layered file (yes, you get the source — always)
Step 4
Typography Selection & Business Collateral
Font pairings chosen strategically for readability and personality. We include these on the brand boards and can provide some information regarding font licensing. (Not all fonts are "free" to use and we can geek out with you about why that's the case.)
Branding packages also include custom social media cover photos for your channels of choice as well as up to 12 Canva templates, as well as a double-sided business card design.
I also provide support for implementing your brand across your platforms — website, social media, collateral, etc. And yes, if you want a website afterward… I already know your brand inside and out, so the process is lightning fast.
